Summer Calendar

Philadelphia is a great city to visit any time of year, but summer is especially special. There are a number of places where you can beat the heat: the breezy stand at a Phillies Game, a boat ride on the Delaware River, or one of the several beaches located near Philadelphia, such as Ocean City, New Jersey and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. You can also go hiking or biking in the Wissahickon Valley Park, located just outside of Philadelphia. It’s a great place to go hiking, biking, or just relax in nature. At night, you can take in a ghost tour. And when it’s time for provisions, check out Reading Terminal Market, an historic market where you can buy fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and other local goods.
